I paid off my Living Spaces account in early 2018 immediately after finding out that the company had added back interest for the entire zero interest promotional period, which I was not aware was their practice. The company sets up the minimum monthly payments so that you do not pay off the loan amount within the promotional period and are left with a balance which results in you getting charged for the entire period of interest that you had the loan.

I disputed this within the same month and was able to pay off with interest reduced, however notified them after doing some research on my Care Credit accounts that I should have been part of the class refunded by the Consumer Protection Agency for deceptive practices. I have a two Care Credit accounts which have been on automatic payments for years and balances were not going down. I elevated this issue three times and asked why I was omitted from the class when the years I had these accounts were in the period the class was awarded. I received a letter back that was extremely vague citing they met their criteria.

In early May, I elevated again and am currently waiting for an update. In May 2018 my Living Spaces cars which had 100% payments on time was closed at their request. This has impacted my credit report.

I firmly believe this is a result of my disputing their shady. Isomers practices and will contact the Consumer Protection Agency to file formal complaint.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Horrible company. Thanks for sharing.

They have negatively impacted my credit score as well after I've had a perfect credit history with them. They abruptly lowered my credit limits and closed my Old Navy account after I paid it off.

I know someone has to be paying attention to this. There are too many people having the same problems with this bank.

There are too many people who are relying on credit utilization to boost their credit scores. Do not base your credit on one off store cards, not use them and hope for the best.If you and others want to know why this is happening and why it's legal, Google why was my credit card closed or something like that.IF an Old Navy card being shut down messed up your score, there's probably other things going on in your jacket.
