Apparently I didn't use my Sam's club card enough and because of that my $0 balance card was closed due to inactivity even though my expiration date on my card was 10/19. The told me it was because of "security reasons" they closed my card and there's no way to re-open it without re-applying.

No letters, no notice, no anything. As a consumer, we want our balances to be at $0 but they don't make money when it is. I have never had a card closed because I don't use it enough and it's at $0 balance.

Sad....and very POOR customer service when I called. I don't recommend using Synchrony Bank cards if this is how they treat consumers.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

They did the same thing to me. I am very disappointed.

That credit line was at a zero balance and now it is gone. I find this to be a poor customer experience.

What do you expect. This is like coming into a bar all the time but not ordering.

You're taking up space and have to go.Typically the only people who care if a store card is closed are those who are playing the "raise my credit score through low utilization" game.Pro-Tip....They're there to make money, not soothe your fragile ego.

Also, there are no laws that require a CC company to tell you they're shutting you off. Be glad you didn't find out at Sam's.
