I'm not sure what it is with people who make these lame complaints. This is a for profit business.

They aren't in the CREDIT BUILDING business. They know people like this are trying to build credit on a foundation of sand and are playing the credit utilization game. This game IS NOT for long term credit score growth. It's for when you need a quick credit boost because you're about to buy something or maybe refinance.

This scheme works IF the underwriters don't care why your score is where it is and just want the commission. This scheme falls apart the second you do something stupid like paying off the card(s) every month or try to get additional cards from other banks as if they wouldn't notice. The only thing this dude can do is pay off the cards and try to build on a firm foundation which will take time. He will have to allow the old past dues to fall off.

To summarize, getting a bunch of silly cards from this bank that can only be used in a single store to build your credit is stupid at best if you're looking towards the long term. This guy played the game and lost.

We have had the same experience. Wal Mart used them for their credit card customers and a few years back dropped them and switched to Capital One to issue their store card.

There was many Wal Mart customers complaining. So happy Wal Mart listened.

I returned an Apple Watch on August 6th and still cannot get credit for the return Customer service will not help Worst credit card ever

I call because I had a balance to my credit card account even though I did not have the card yet.

I was so shock when I received an email saying the balance in my Sams club credit card. I havent received the credit card yet and I did not go to Sams club yet but I have a balance of $95.75. I dont want to pay for the stuff that I did not buy.

Resolution of Missing Funds

I electronically deposited funds into Synchrony Bank on 08/22/2022. Synchrony Bank had closed my High Yield Savings account so the money disappeared for 3 weeks. The money was finally returned to the bank that the money was sent from on 09/12/2022.

Synchrony accounts website not accessible for a week

Synchrony Bank - Synchrony accounts website not accessible for a week
Am trying to manage my Sam's Club Credit Card by looking at my statement. Cannot access my statement because the Sychrony.Com Accounts site comes up an error stating "We Apologize. We are experiencing technical difficulties and unable to access your account." This has been going on for the last 8 days. If I try to access my statement through Sam's Club website it dumps me into the Sychrony.com accounts page - and no access due to "technical difficulties".

Jacked up interest rate

I signed up for an Amazon Prime card. The rate was 15% when I got the card. When I looked up the interest rate a few days ago, after having the card since 2018, it was at 28.2%. I'm not sure when they increased the rate however that is just ludicrous. My credit score is 805. Anyway...I transferred the balance to my credit union whose interest rate is a static 10% APR. Watch out for these *** Charging customers close to 30% APR should be illegal.

Dispute on credit card

I had a Care Credit and they allowed a third party company add an unauthorized credit protection to my account without my knowledge or approval. Whew I went to pay is my account is when I was notified of these charges. I was bounced back and forth on. Spoke with supervisors/managers with no resolution. They were not nice or helpful. Finally the third party issued a credit to Care Credit which was not the full unauthorized amount of what they were charging to my account . And now Care Credit will not issue me the 1200.00 they receive on top of my paid balance to them and no one will assist me.

Poor Service

This company has closed perfectly paid accounts with 0 balances and nobody can answer why. This is a useless bank with crap services! After they closed my accounts my perfectly earned credit score dropped 91 points because of these idiots. Yet you call and they all have same response not sure why that happened. When calling the bank and ask for credit supervisor they gimmie lies about how many different departments and I get angry telling them it's the same sorry bank get me a head supervisor over all departments... oh I'm sorry we can't do that!

LOL...Your credit score wasn't "hard-earned." It was based on your playing (and losing) the credit utilization game. Pro-Tip: If you don't use your credit cards and keep a zero balance, they will lower your limit or shut you down completely.

The game you tried to play (and lost) is based on a short-term boost as and will not last forever. Had you had any sense, you would have left balances on those cards so the bank could make money.

They're glad to play your game if they're making money. It's too late for you but for others with a pocket full of these worthless cards, you must keep balances and not pay them off every month unless you want to end up like Mikey here.

Closed my account in May. Still have not received money

Takes forever to receive your money. They do not do what you ask them to do. I sent a check back to them as they made it out to my trust and my bank would not cash it as I do not have a trust account with them. I returned the check to them and explained to them why my bank would not cash it. It took them 3 months to reissue new check . I must have called them 15 times. This is just one example. I could go on and on. I finally told them to cancel all my accounts.

13 credit cards have been closed

13 of my credit cards were closed without me knowing. Ive always paid on time, never missed a payment. I think is unfair because if I couldnt pay I would not have applied for these cards. Ive had some of these credit cards for a long time. My credit cards should not have been closed.

This so called bank loves to do hard inquiries without consent. They are horrible to work with. Their customer service is a joke. They are rude and don try to resolve anything not to mention how they give the lowest credit limits in the industry. There is a reason why so businesses are using them to facilitate the credit cards. they are ruthless.Stay far away . I have contacted them and they wont budge.
