Synchrony Bank - Poor experience
I have never experienced a more frustrating period in attempting to get someone to help me with a problem with Synchrony. Its on-line site is full of information, none of which is helpful.
For example, the "virtual assistant" cuts out too soon and does not address the issues I have. The site directs you to enter your account number, etc and then to leave an e-mail when the word "message" appears. But the word never appears. I searched on-line for a bank in New Jersey and found one in Bridgewater, the phone number of which has been disconnected.
Finally, after three hours of seeking help from a human I was successful in speaking with a man named Jucas. He finally cut through all the electronic nonsensical talk and did resolve my problem.
In spite of this I can well understand all the negative comments about this bank. I will pay off the so-called promotional offer for purchasing new glasses and never hope to have anything further to do with this bank.
User's recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS BANK.
