No complaint but my card was issued through Sams Club. Synchrony Bank is the card Sams Club issues to its customers for ID and purchases. I have had a couple of disputes on charges and Syn. Bank was easy to contact and have so far handled my disputes as requested. Just a suggestion: Join Sams Club if so many here are having problems with their issues. You will automatically be assigned a Syn-Bank card (I assume only if your credit rating is reasonable).

ANOTHER CS REP REOPENED MY ACCOUNT & SAID THEY WILL CONTACT THE CORRECT DEPARTMENT TO REPRIMAND THE CS REP WHO CLOSED MY ACCOUNT. I AM HAPPY AGAIN

They closed my account & said per my request which was a lie I seem to have a lot of problems with my account so when i signed on to pay my statement the site messed up once again. the page was completely blank except the top line with the banks name logout & chat. I tried to sign out but it would not sign me out so I tried chat. I told the cs rep that the page was completely blank and ect.. and he said "I see you are on the update page. all you have to do is update your account & you will be fine" I said "wtf! I said the page is blank!!You do not undertand. I have this problem alot with your site. I may close my account once I pay off my account balance. I will delete my cookies so that will sign me out" A minute later the dumb cs rep comes back and says that I should delete my cookies etc... making it seem like it was his idea the whole time. I was pissed. I said to him "you are useless" and closed chat, deleted cookies and that worked for me to signout. I was able to get back on and pay my statement and then i go back the next day & my account said closed. WTF!!!! it says right on their site the only way to close an account is to CALL customer support. He closed it because he was probably pissed I said he was useless. I filed a bbb (better business bureau) compalint against them

The reason I am happy is because I use it for vet bills and the vet only accepts this form of vet credit card. OK???!!!

Your better off instantly transferring any ballance to a Discover or Visa to avoid potentially being trapped into $350 deferred-interest on $1,000 charge in 6 months .. You're just another crab in the Synchrony pot until they find a way for their lawyers to open it up & they all feast on you for dinner!

Do you realize using non store-branded credit cards you can sometimes get three consecutive years of 0% interest with no retroactive deferred-interest rope around your neck like Synchrony uses. Try Discover or Visa, if you just call up every year & ask for their latest promotions.. Always look for companies that don't promote deferred-interest scams

Do you think people who get these cards have the ability to get "real" credit cards? If they did, they would or would have been smart enough to ignore the cashier's prodding to get a high interest card just to save a few points at the register and get a free candy bar.

Most of these people get cards from this bank to help their credit scores by playing the utilization game. They'e sailing happy until they're shut down and blame the bank.

These games do not work in the long run. The only time it makes sense to do this game is if you're trying to boost your credit on a short term basis to do things like re-fi/buy houses etc.

I meant when i said lots of problems with my account I meant lots of problem on their website with my account like signing in or trying to pay a bill and get an error page over and over again
