New ReviewerSynchrony bank restricted our access to our joint account to both of us without giving any reason and says we cant do anything other than waiting till they complete their investigations. They are saying this can take any where from 30 to 60 days.
No unauthorised withdraws or over the account balance withdraws and account is in good standing but still they restricted our acct and saying we cant even close now.
Received a letter from Synchrony Bank providing a code to provide customer service. When I called to provide the code so they remove restriction, I am told that letter was sent by mistake and code is not valid
User's recommendation: Do not bank with Synchrony.
Monetary Loss: $111179.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
