I applied for a PAY PAL account in June 2011, I never applied for this sham credit line. I use to buy and sell on the most crookitist site (eBay ) my preferences for paying for goods was set by myself to cash balance but much to my supplies it was changed back not one not twice but 3x back to charging on this card. Who buys an item for $1.99 and charges it to pay interest of 31% on a $2.00 item. I am not the only one this has happened to and I have their testimony. More or less I was forced into this account that I did not want nor did I apply for. I have joined the class action law suit for their wrong and fraudulent doing and poor business practices. Customer service is extremely RUDE, completely useless like eBay. Pay pal has great customer service , perhaps these companies should take a lesson how to treat people. And how many times has this place changed names (owners) wonder why. My attorney and I will seek justice as I see I am not alone in this matter. You take 20 people and these 20 people but 1 all say the same thing , well then you have your answer. It's time these corporations stop taking advantage of people. At this point in my life I have had it all and there comes a point where you throw your hands in the air. At that point you must look down several avenues (one comes to mind chapter 7) this company closed my account because I missed a few payments for the first time in 4 years but did pay them a good chunk of $ to get below my balance and have made payments every month after that. When I called they told me my account is closed and CAN NOT BE REOPENED even tho I am current and pay on time but it's ok to take advantage of people and force them into this sham. Talk soon friends.

LOWErs life/SUCKrony bank

I have been using lowers (spelled like that on purpose) for 21/2 years on a business credit account/w an escrow account on top of that to rebuild my underwater/no equity house. Half way through the project SUCKrony bank sends me a letter they are lowering my credit from a measly 2,000 dollar limit ( I am funding most of this project out of pocket) to 1,300.00 (which is just above were my balance currently stands) with some B.S. excuses about low payments, percentage of balance to credit too high, and account open less than 36 months. I called SUCKrony bank about the letter and asked for some real legitimate reasons other than the B.S. they sent in the letter about the credit amount reduction, which the customer service could not supply. I stated they were full of bull, I am paying off the account (they are not getting any more interest payments out of me), and rudely told the customer service agent to thank their credit evaluation, decision making team thanks for the service and hung up before before anymore “I am sorry” spewed from the lips of the customer service agent, and hung up. I have spent roughly $20,000 over the past couple of years with these lowes lifes’, and this the service and treatment I receive, FAQ EM’!!

I was approved,right on the spot for a toys r us credit card. They gave me a temporary paper " credit card " and I used it to buy $25.00 in Merchandise.

That's it. I never used the card again. But after all of their interest and finance fees, late fees and all of that ***, I ended paying them $ 250.00. How can these people get away with this *** When I dealt with their customer (dis)service, it was always the same rude chick.

Walmart got me approved for a credit card, right on the spot. Then I saw Synchrony Bank on the credit slip and I was like "forget it".Stay away from these people.

same thing happened to me. I finally refused to fax in my banking info when the supervisor told me he could see the payment.

I told him *** no I'm not faxing my banking info to a messed up company who already agree that they have my money, want my SS # too,while I'm at it???????

He released the credit after I wouldn't back down and threaten to close the account. UNACCEPTABLE

Poor customer service

I'm getting emails that say my Care Credit account has been locked due to several unsuccessful attempts to access it. I access my account once a month for my statement. When I called and voiced a concern to two representatives that someone may be attempting to access my account, they both spoke from the same script and said nothing of value. Basically, they could care less. I'm concerned that Synchrony Financial isn't more concerned about possibly fraudulent activity and yet will hold me responsible if fraudulent charges are made. In addition, their telephone menu is the worst ever! WAY too difficult to reach a representative. When I asked for the Fraud group, the automated system closed my account and issued a new credit card! Where is this customer service group located??? It didn't sound like English was their first language.

Synchrony Bank Checking Review from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas

On Dec 2,2015 synchrony Bank mailed me my RMD. I informed them it was the wrong amount and on Dec4.,2015 they mailed out a second check. I notified them on Jan 5 I hadn't received my checks. I sent them their form to void out the two missing checks. I had to pay a notary and special UPS fee. It is now Jan. 20,2016 and still no checks. I contacted a synchrony bank supervisor, Ryan, and he said if I don't receive my check by Jan 22, 2016 they would mail me their check void document where again I would have to pay another notary and delivery charge. I asked what happens if I don't get that check. He said they would have to do it all over. They refuse to electronically transfer my money to my bank but will accept electronic deposits into them. I want my money and will transfer all my money to another organization.

If you're on auto pay, you've got to know that funds didn't come out of your bank account. Try checking your bank statement every few days. It's your money.

Synchrony Bank Carecredit Account Review from North Miami, Florida

Took out a 17 month interest free line of credit with Synchrony at my vet. I scanned their application from a poster on the wall that read "interest free." Fast forward 45 days, I start reviewing collection calls for a "rooms to go" account. I don't have one but as it turns out my mom does. Yup that's right, they confused us. Meanwhile the calls continued. Over 6 calls per day from 7 AM to 8 PM. They were collection calls for the credit care account as well. My original debt had gone from $496 to $583 in just a month due to "late fees." I explained to them that their "late fee" was tantamount to a usury charge and at that NO time prior to signing up with them was I EVER informed that a minimum payment was required. Had I known this I would NOT have taken out the line of credit under any circumstances. They even reported on my credit which I didn't find out until yesterday when I tried to buy a car and the screwed up my credit!!! Finally I was so upset I paid the balance but feel they are operating deceptively. My mom has been going through the same thing too on her rooms to go account. Had I known I was getting a line of credit with Synchrony, I wouldn't have signed up because I could have seen their complaints online.

I needed a dental crown in January 2012. The cost seemed very high but I had 6 months to pay it down. As fate would have it, I then was told that the gum graft I had not been able to afford was necessary asap, another 6 month option. I am on a fixed income and lost my savings to medical expenses; Care Credit was my only option - AGAIN! Here comes the fine print! Ask your dentist about this, too. By doing Care Credit, the clinic charged me an extra $300 on EACH of the 2 procedures, telling me this was to cover the carrying charge they pay CC! So there I had one crown +$300 and one gum graft + $300!. Then the 6-months couldn't be paid off, so tack on 26.99% from day 1 for the crown and again for the graft. I have made more than the minimum payment every month since January, 2012. It is now October 2015 and my balance remains at just over $2,000. In fact, the balance now due is more than the balance of both procedures had I not used Care Credit. I now need another $1,200 of dental work by a dentist who will not charge me his carrying charges. However, because my income is not sufficient to pay off in a few months, the 26.99% will again be tacked on. Fortunately, my dentist has agreed to carry my payments as long as I do not miss any payments. Care Credit has left me disastrously cash strapped. Please don't use them unless you have no other choice. It could mean a lifetime of debt! If I could find a way of recovering anyting, lowering interest, ANYTHING, I would love it. Any ideas? Please let me know!
