That's not their fault.

They ARE NOT in the credit score raising business.

They into getting paid when you use the card and to increase and protect shareholder value.

If you're not using the card, you're wasting their time and they may axe you.

If you're doing the so-called score building hustle as it sounds like you and the rest of the whiners are doing, sooner or later they'll see this and cut their risk but cutting the credit limit legs from under you.

They're not going to sit around and see if you're really going to manage your credit properly and not go wild on the other cards and not be able to pay them. OK, let's hear the theme of people who whine like this: "You must work for them" "Let's start a class action lawsuit."

Wow, too many transactions. This finance company, doesn't deserve to stay in business.I can't believe, these big retailers are, still using they're, credit services.

I contacted, Walmart, and asked, upper management, and asked, if they care more about, they'[re cozy relationship, with, Synchrony, than, they're own ,customers. No real response.

And, by the way, I'm told, some employees are encouraged, to respond, to, any negative reviews. Big surprise.

Their mistakes will cost you.

I paid every month early. After paying 4 months this way they decided my payments were too early and did not apply them to my due payment. I was charged 37.00 late fee and a late status showed After I called and explained things (twice this happened) they did refund the charge, but my account still showed a late payment due. They told me they could not change this. The last person I talked with hung up on me when I asked what the billing dates were. I was not rude, just persistent on them fixing their error. I have not made a late payment in 35 years! And now because of their ineptitude my credit will show late payments. I paid off the balance before my promotional period was over and now am trashing this 'helpful' carecredit card. Horrible!

I can't think of, 1, nice thing to say, about, Synchrony. They're, company policies , are , horrible.

They're, customer service, is a joke. Look, they've changed they're name, several times, to cover, they're , reputatation, of being, ***. With, all my accts. , including, Capital one, City , Chase, and others, Synchrony, is by far the worst.

Also, have accts. , with, Synchrony, at, walmart and Lowe's.

They are in the process of being closed, for good.People should look at , you're review, as, , Synchrony is bad news. Have a good day.

Scamming customers for late fees

I have been dealing with this horrible company for years. They own all of the credit cards I have. The way the scam works: You sign up for estatements. They neglect to send a statement. If you don't notice(who would?) and don't contact them, they send you one the following month. Now you owe interest and a late fee. Most people will just pay it. Think 35.00 x 100,00 (this is just a small number) customers for instance. They are makings millions off the scam. So, if 1000 customers call in to complain, they just refund the late fee. Nobody does anything about it, so the scam continues....

My experience with this bank

They are horrible to deal with. I had an issue with the payments. I wire all of my payments, and I have the receipt in hand, the date and time of the payment. They were not posting the payments when they were supposed to, and adding late fees. I called and was routed through a place in the Orient or Middle East. I explained the situation. I could not get through to the rep. She had never heard of "wired" payments. I offered to fax a copy. They do not have fax machines. Do they operate out of a cave? She gave me another number to call. I called it. Once again, routed through an offshore country. They had no idea what was going on, and gave me another number to call. This time I got someone in the USA. This person said they have no record of my account. I have no idea how to straighten this mess out as you cannot get anyone who can help you, or even has a clue of what is going on with your account. These people have never heard of a wired payment or a fax machine.

we bought range on 12/12/18 and put it on Synchrony cc. Today i called and guy from India told me we didn't receive credit card and first statement because our address was wrong.

Than he told me :pay now, your due date is 5th. I said i need the statement and see how and what i'm paying for. I said I don't have a statement and what would have happen if I didn't call today??? I would pay 30% finance charge????

Synchrony website poor design

I have a Care Credit card, now owned by Synchrony. I recently chose to go to paperless and receive my statements online. I signed in to my account, went to statements and could not see or download the statements. Long story short, after days I suddenly wondered if I clicked the "month date" instead of the statement icon would that work? It did work, but I thought it was poor design. I am pretty good with PC's (I'm "the guy" my friends call when they need help) and I download/view a lot of PDF files every month. On the Care Credit statement page they list the month on the left and on the right is an icon that looks like a statement page. Right next to the icon is a word "Disclosure". When you click "Disclosure" it opens a PDF file. When you click the icon nothing happens. To view the statement you have to click ON THE MONTH! So now I've figured this out but I believe it is poor web design.

Synchrony Financial are cheats

They provide customers with same as cash financing hoping that the customer will use electronic banking to make the equal installments to avoid interest. They then credit the payments occasionally as "late" and accrue late fees and interest to build up the balance on the unsuspecting customer. This has happened to me twice. If you use their service, you must watch every payment made to these thieves to assure that it is being credited on time as paid. Most recently, I paid 6 equal installments of 1/6 of my balance starting on the first due date and commencing monthly thereafter. They credited 3 of the payments as late and started charging late fees on the account as well as accruing interest on the late fee. Then they skipped sending email statements for 2 months so that I was not aware of the late fees and interest. After calling them and shouting "representative" into the phone 50 times I was connected to a foreign representative that removed the bogus charges from my account.

Outrageous Bills

My payments have nearly doubled since they took over. This is more than I can pay and they will likely have to settle with me because I can't do it. I have several store credit cards that were manageable on my $11. an hour job with rent and car payment. Synchrony Bank is making bankruptcy look very good right now. I'm just waiting for the law to catch up with them before that happens. They will go very quickly the way of HSBC and WAMU... All I can say is that this finance company is going to fail very soon. I anticipate many lawsuits to come.
