IT IS AS BAD AS THEY SAY

POOR SYSTEMS THAT CRASH, POOR MANAGEMENT, POORLY TRAINED EMPLOYEES WHO CANT ANSWER QUESTIONS OR PROVIDE THREE DIFFERENT ANSWERS, HORRENDOUS EMPLOYEE TURNOVER RATE, CONSTANT TRANSFERS OF CALLS FROM ONE DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER, CUSTOMERS PUT ON HOLD, THE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT EVEN LINKED FOR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT, CONSTANT PHONE CALLS OVER AND OVER, WITH DUPLICANT PAYMENTS TAKEN AT TIMES! HH GREG AND TOYS ARE US ARE JUST THE BEGINNING! JUST LOOK AT HOW MUCH IS PAID OUT ANNUALLY FOR VIOLATIONS OF FDCPA REGULATIONS. I wish I never had to deal with this bank. I have been trying to get my bank accounts fixed for over a month, They call you back days later and put you on hold a lot because they have to speak to a supervisor to answer your questions.

Have screwed up my accounts and its like pulling teeth to get them fixed. I am moving my money somewhere else because they do not care about their customers.

Synchrony Bank is killing my credit

A while ago got into a financial hardship. I got back I track about 9 monts and have been doing great since. There has been something that has been defaulted but I tried to stay good with my long time creditors. After being cusght up for several minutes the now they started lowering my credit limits and now have closed multiple accounts,. 2 which I recently paid off and one that I had for over 10 years. All of them are current. They are killing my credit instead of helping me.

Crap company!

inaccurate information and they report incorrectly to Credit companies. Credit increases done without my knowledge and then when I called to dispute they took several months to get back to me and still tried to say I made the request personally. I went to the location where they stated I made the request and pulled all of my records an none matching the day stated I made the increase. I called to report it and the rep said I couldn't fax the information that they didn't have one! and I have to mail it! complete crap! I already had to put my life on hold as my credit score dropped for 3 months while waiting to hear back now I have to wait even longer to prove them wrong! These mistakes shouldn't be happening and I for one will never use this company again.

Same experience with toys r us card!!!

My credit limit kept going up because of my excellent payment history with them. I had brain surgery, and got home shortly after the first week in November.I decided to do xmas shopping online with mycard. DECLINED!!! Because they did a random check and my score went down while I was in ICU, they CLOSED my account!!! DISGRACEFUL!!! SHAME ON YOU SYNCHRONY BANK!!! What's your point? When you joined up and agreed to their terms which you probably didn't read, they said that from time to time they would check up on you.

More than likely, they were peaking in to see about increasing your credit and found what you say is an error.

All credit cards and such do this.

They are correct, you have to contact the credit agencies to have it removed. They can't do it for you and won't just take you at your word not matter how many perfect payments you've made over the years.

This is business, stop taking it personal.

I agree with the top Social Media Companies - Synchrony Bank Is The Worst!

BECAUSE of the sloppy and careless work of the Synchrony Bank employees, my limit on one of my cards was reduced. They say it was due to late payments, on another account, however, their auto-pay does not work every month! They tell me that I called on specific dates to cancel it, which I NEVER did! I am so frustrated with them! This is only 1 of many issues that I have had with them! They have the worst customer service. They make so many mistakes! 2 of the top social media companies have told me that they hate Synchrony, due to the same issues that I have. I can not agree more!!!

Synchrony Bank -Very poor telephone service

I am not a customer of Synchrony Bank and I would advise you not to be either. I had to call them because an automated message for one of their customers went to my voicemail. I did not know this person and the message implied there would be further contact so I wanted to get this straightened out immediately for her sake and mine. I ended up having to make four (4) phone calls going through the automated system each time that wanted account numbers and type of account information. There was no option to get to a live person quickly: apparently they do not expect prospective customers or other non-customers to call. Here are my experiences. #1 was going to connect me to the fraud department - at my suggestion. Instead I was disconnected. #2 was the sound of silence after the call was supposed to have gone to an agent. #3 was the sound for furious typing. No one ever spoke or responded to my shouts of "Hello?" #4 actually transferred me to the fraud department and the woman there was able to go into the computer system and found that their customer's number had one number different from mine. She said she had corrected it while we were on the phone. Nothing on the website appeared to tell a customer how to report a lost or compromised credit card. I hope that if you are a customer you have a better way to contact them if you need to.
