I have several accounts with Synchrony Bank and they are several years old and I just experienced the first time I was late by any amount of time. They immediately cut my limit like I was going to cheat the 4th rate bank. They have done this on several accounts paid in advance and never late. I would recommend not using this 4th rate bank. Walmart already dropped them and so did Toro for bad customer experiences. No one should trust them. They cut my Texaco, Toro, and Belk card limits. They have already reinstated them with other banks with quality. It is a shame you can't give them negative stars because that is where they belong.

Missing 2021 Sam's Rewards
Was supposed to receive $434.65 as on my statements from you. Sam's only gave me $373.99, said that is all they received from You. I want the remaining Cash Rewards. You can apply them to my account. It takes too many days to clear a transaction and/or payments. Sometimes 5-6 days. Unacceptable performance in this day and age

Not honoring my promo gift card for Sams Club
I was a member for over four years and cancelled my membership due to two members not needing bulk products. I sign up under a promo and still waiting for my promo gift card for two months. Get an unrequeted letter for a PayPal account and when I try to contact some one to get answers on this false application you have the nerve to try and charge a dollar to proceed??
Reference # ML3RVABH8NSRW is a letter saying my request for a PayPal account has been denied. I NEVER requested a PayPal account and you have no customer service person to speak with.

no reply was necessary, just wanted to make sure they knew my wife was deceased, someone tried to open a paypal account using her name and they sent a letter to her the request was denied

Continues to bill me and hurt my credit even after my account is closed.
I called to pay my remaining balance after they failed to update credit report showing my timely payment history which showed I was over my credit limit. It hurt my credit score for months. After calling, their employee gave me the balance remaining and the agreement was to close my account thereafter. Although the conversation was recorded and they are stating my account is closed, they claim I have a 200+ dollar balance and continue to keep it on my credit. It took me 5 transfers to actually speak with someone who did not even help. So, I filed a complaint with the BBB and will speak to an attorney about the damage to my credit along with the credit bureaus
