I called Syn about the tax form, they tell me to call Zwicker. They tell me they don't handle tax forms, to call Syn. Three times back and forth between them because the csr help at Syn are clueless and hateful. 3rd call to Syn and I tell the man I have the form with the incorrect address and was it for Walmart or Car Care? He informs me that address was what they had on hand and he can file for a correction which will take 45 days to go through. Why so slow? I gave him my address, so why wasn't a new form printed out with the corrected address and sent to me in the envelope that has the correct address? If I file my taxes now, I will have to go back for an amended because of wait time on the address change.

User's recommendation: Don't expect stellar csr help here.

Trying to find lout what happend to my loan payment

Your *** right I’m pissed I want to know what happend to my January payment. Your statement said I owed 000.00 but I sent 200.00 anyways to stay ahead then this other company took over and they are saying I owe for February and March so what the *** happend to the payment I sent for January if I owed 0 and sent 200 that should have more then covered my February payment I want some *** answers or I am calling a lawyer and will own your *** bc I have the proof of it all

I don't recommend anybody ever using their Credit Card.Bad.Fleet Farm,TJX,J.C.Penny's all use Synchrony Bank Credit Cards and maybe also BP.

A had credit coming for 4 months worth of Diet Pills which I all returned.They gave me credit for 3 months after which I canceled my card which was also paid off.My husbands account still had a balance of 140.00 some dollars.I wrote them a note with a payment and requested that the credit that they still owed me be applied to my husbands account which would then have been paid off also.However that was not what they did.Instead they applied a $ 38.00 late fee to my husbands account and that then added up to over $300.00 some $.They then sold my husbands account to a collection agency which is now trying to collect money from me, which if they would have done their job and what I requested don't really owe.

LOL....So, you added a little note to your payment huh? What do you think happens at banks?

Do you think someone is sitting around with a letter opener and reading "notes?" No, this @#$# is scanned and that's it. The computer doesn't care about a note. It cares about the payment. That's it.

This is why banks have correspondence addresses. Why I'll bet it was on cute stationery. What happened, you decided to not pay it and they got tired of you. They aren't transferring credits from one account to another.

You were probably told that. That means they were trying to get this little $38.00 for months before sending it out. With that said, this is YOUR fault that it went to collections. Thanks for your what not to do if you're a functioning adult and don't like unnecessary aggravation post.

It will help people to not do stupid things as you did.

Go ahead, say it. "You must work for them."

C'mon. You know why you were declined, don't you?

Yeah, you know why. You thought you could put one over on an outfit like this one. What is it, do you have a bunch of their one-off cards from a variety of stores? If you don't have a clue, they'll help you out.

You'll get a nice letter explaining it to you. When you get that letter, take the opportunity to pull a REAL credit report. No, not something from one of those "credit builder" sites. Your letter should tell you how to get one, FREE.

Get the thing, look it over for errors. If you find errors, start working on fixing them. IF not, you'll have to live with your credit for a few years until things get better.

Be glad you didn't get approved. I can guarantee that a year from now, you would be back here whining about how they "took advantage" of you or "caused your score to drop" as they reduced your credit limit for any number of reasons.

Well to be honest don’t you think you have the answer? Obviously you float your bills and have a not so great credit score and given the info you have given them plus the read only notes from your previous creditors it can be surmised that you are far too much of a risk to have as a customer.

Simple really.

You’re living outside of your means and you’re using other poke money to do so. Get a handle on your budget, cut some costs and live out of your own paycheck instead of a 18-33% interest rate.

And you my friend just won the award for presenting two of the most overused phrases in a dead beat(for whatever reason) lexicon. First, the infamous "they wouldn't work with me." Uttered by people who want to step outside of a contract they side.

Do not sign a contract if you don't have plans to stick to it. You for whatever reason didn't pay on time, the contract YOU signed kicked in with penalities. Rather than suck it up and move on, you decided to whine about it here. Secondly, the dead beat's passive-aggressive curse, "hope they never have something." Why would you wish ill health on people who's only job is to make sure YOU honor YOUR commitment?

Should they lose their job and end up like you because you had a bad turn? Finally, mentioning Karma. You clearly are clueless about Karma. Tell you what, pull your contract, show them the "work with you," "life happens" clause(which thankfully you didn't use)clause and you should be fine.

If not, deal with it. OK....Last dead beat phrase of the day, "you must work for them."

Do not use Synchrony Bank

My husband and I bought a Sleep Number bed and were told that we could finance it through Synchrony Bank. January 2020 we made a payment online for $207.76 which did not show up on our bank statement. I called Synchrony and was told that we made a payment for the balance of $806.76 which we did not. I even have a confirmation number for the payment I made ($206.76). Nothing has cleared our bank. The person to whom I spoke would not let me speak to anyone else. The representative told me to talk to my bank. I am afraid that later they will say we did not make a payment so will be charged a late fee.

Enough of making calls and hoping for a quick solution. Write a letter, layout your claim, add any backup.

Send it so you get a return receipt. When the nonsense starts, you have backup that you can send to the credit agencies if you're reported or this goes any further. Calls can't be proven.

Agents either can't see what you're talking about or are the next poorly trained, poorly paid new hire that showed up with one foot out the door. Oh, and in cheap shops, there may not be a magical manager who can solve your needs or they're buried trying to train, work and answer the phones at the same time.

it's not really a complaint. I just want to know if they can mail me my overpaid balance.you owe me $75. I just want a phone number to talk to a human. I don't want to spend time doing this. This really sucks

This bank closed my paid off card! I had a low credit limit so I was waiting until it was increased to use it again! But to my surprise I got a letter in the mail telling me they decide to close my account! Really a joke and I have not heard one good thing about this...

LOL...So you didn't use a card, just let it sit there thinking it would grow like a flower and you actually have the temerity to be surprised and angry? Educate yourself...Credit Card 101 for any bank.

Banks only have so much credit they're ready to put out there. Often times banks especially this one and others who host silly one-off cards( like a card that can only be used on an impulse shopping channel) check to see if people are using them. They make money if you use them. If not, they will cut or shut you down and move your credit to another fool who thinks an increase in credit from this bank is a good thing.

The funny thing about your complaint is that YOU agreed to this when you signed up. C'mon, you did read the terms before jumping. Riiiight I'll bet you read their terms just like you read the TOS on this site before posting. Verdict on the case, your fault for not knowing how credit cards work.

The sentence, Google reasons a bank will shut down my credit card. OK.....Let's hear it....."You must work for them."

I have had a JCPenney for years----called their 800 number to do a payment by phone and was told the balance was $0. Wouldn't allow me to make a payment. Figured they were having tech issues, as I have usually paid by phone. Tried again the next day and the same thing....

Yeah, you can tell an old confused person when you see them. First, "the girl.' C'mon, you're dealing with an adult, not a girl.

Ran to the store to make a payment. Only old people run to stores to make payments.

But the biggest giveaway is this bank has been doing JCP for at least 2 years but probably longer. Of course, all of this information is online and was probably sent to you.

Shady credit card company

I have excellent credit and have had a Lowe's card for years. I've used it to purchase appliances and other high-dollar items, and always use their deferred interest offers. I pay off my balance on time and never pay a penny of interest. Last month I inadvertently made a payment through their website (I normally make them through my bank's bill pay service) and didn't realize that I hadn't updated my checking account info (my checking account was breached last year and was closed, then reopened at same bank with a new account number). Anyway, I noticed that the payment had not come through my bank when I'd expected it to, so I logged on to my Lowe's account and immediately realized what had happened. I then updated my checking info and made the payment with the correct account info. This was all done prior to my due date, so nothing was past due. Then yesterday, I get an update from my credit monitoring service that my Lowe's account had been closed. I contacted them and low and behold, they'd closed my account because of the ONE declined payment. No notification from them, no phone call, no email, not even a note on my most recent statement..just closed. I could understand this IF I hadn't corrected the issue and made the payment in question on time. I could also somewhat understand it if they'd had the courtesy to email or call to let me know what they were going to do. But nope, that evidently would have been too much to expect from his horrible company. I guess I can't technically blame Lowe's, but rather Synchrony bank. However, if this is the company that Lowe's chooses to handle their credit cards, then the blame does flow back to them. So, I'll be paying the minimum for the next few months on my deferred interest balances, and will pay the full balance just prior to the interest being charged. They want to screw me over for an honest mistake, then I'm very happy using their money for free. Idiots. Maybe they're on to me and realize I'm not one of the fools that will be paying their 26.99% interest rates, so decided it was time to get rid of me. Glad to know that they're doing so well they can treat long-time customers this way.

"paying their 26.99% interest" Finally, one of you whiny babies gets it!! Yes, this and any bank only makes money if you use their card and make minimum payments.

If you have someone who only uses the card every once and a while, say buy appliances and pay it off, you're not making them money. They will either cut your limit which shouldn't matter to people with excellent credit or cut you off, which also shouldn't matter to people with excellent credit. Up until your rant, the people who whined about being cut are those whose credit is based on them holding these useless cards in their wallets in an effort to boost their credit.

Anyway, forgetting is YOUR fault, be a man/woman and move on from that @#$# and find something else to worry about. It's clear your cute Lowes card is also linked to your ego hence this rant.
