I find out my payment I mailed did not get there so they emailed me and I called paid them right then called my bank stopped payment on check to get a letter in the mail they lowered my credit limit to no credit anymore??? really wtf I have never missed a payment on any accts ever in my life and this is how I am treated? You know things happen it was lost in mail!!! idiots

Preferred solution: I bought some emergency food when pandemic started punish me. The mail service has issues punish me? I will pay my min on card now until you increase limit. Pay more on all my CC but yours. Treat me with respect.

Lack of Bank Security

We are in the process of cancelling our card with Synchrony Bank due to multiple cases of fraud. The security of this bank is very incredibly low, so much so, that someone was able to call up and report our card lost and have a new one sent to them. When we found out, we immediately called and was told that we had to physically mail proof of our current address in order to prove who we were. That was the last straw. We acquired this card through Sams Club, which we plan to cancel our membership just because they use this bank. If you have a card through Synchrony, my advice, check all the information daily for fraud.

Opened an account over the phone with a personal banker, we set up an ach transfer with my bank to get the account opened it. When I tried to set up on line access they had the wrong phone number. Was told I would have to wait 60 day to correct. When I asked them to just close it, told it's under review, review of what?

Synchrony Bank sucks so hard

I just opened an account one week ago. I havent even received the card yet. I got an email saying that I have a payment due already. I tried the chat through the website, but its automated. It tells me I dont have a payment due because theres no balance yet. Meanwhile, right behind the chat window, theres a page saying my payment is already due and theres a balance. It asks me if I would like to speak to a live agent, so I choose YES, then it tells me there isnt one available. This is the most unprofessional establishment ever.

3 hours on the phone

I have been on the phone with this bank for over 3 hours trying to pay off my polaris loan! They don't answer. They hangup qhen they transfer. I didn't realize i needed to take a day off work to pay a loan off over the phone.

Worst bank ever. has no customer service value and allows zero flexibility on payments. Frequently gets payment information wrong and tries to penalize customers for their incompetency's.

Poor payment options and less than competent Customer service representatives. Completely useless options other than pushing you to automatic payment, which is obvious because they make payment options so difficult and charge you to speak to an associate. My recommendation is if you have a loan with them to refinance it and get out of it

After multiple phone conversations and your bank trying to track down two payments that we sent electronically from our bank, we received a bill today AND only one of the payments has been credited to our account, AND we have been charged interest rates on the payments we made and you cant find - after I was assured that would not happen. Incorrect deposit

My deposit was short. I cant reach any representative for help. I dont have time to wait due to high call volume or be referred 4 times to someone who cant help before being cut off. I do not need to told my customer number is incorrect and my call dropped before speaking to a person.

1. If you change your account email, password or payment method, and any of the elements dont update youll be locked out with little recourse. 2. Phone service automated voice prompts insist on routing one back to the web, even when its unresponsive or inaccessible.

I want to know if someone else is using my information

I applied for a card with Old Navy and I didnt hear anything so I called their CS and was told that it did not go thru so so three weeks later they sent it again. Now I get a letter saying it was denied due to prior application submitted too recently. What does that mean?? Im afraid someone is using my information.

Need to speak with representive

They simply suck

I have had two cards connected to them and has of today both are shredded. They are not a traditional bank and will charge you fees at the drop of a hat. And has for customer service there is none.
