Received the biggest run around!. Had to call at least 5 times . People would transfer you to the wrong department. Then they hang up on you after being put on hold for long period of time. Very disappointed and dissatisfied!

Closed my Amazon Store Card

Synchrony Bank closed my Amazon Store Card, I have never been late on a payment and I have a 800 credit score. Amazon has lost a customer because of this. This bank needs to be investigated and see why are they closing accounts with perfect payment history and customers with bery good credit scores

Why would someone with an 800 credit score use a card at a bank like this? Why not use a better card and get points?

As far as investigations, the funny thing here is YOU agreed to the possibility that your card could be closed down without notice. What a loser.

Called 3 months in a row to cancel a Brit Box Subscription. I have been charged every month since and now I show late charges on my account. I have always paid my account in full each month.

Very poor listening skills. Not getting my problem resolved for 3 months. Which has resulted in late charges. This bank has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I worked in banking for years in many capacities, and if I treated a customer in this manner I would have been fired. I will probably cancel my Amazon credit card as a result of this.

I was a good Amazon user but I managed not to get tricked into getting PRIME by clicking on a barely visible square box underneath a larger non-prime box when I Joined about 8 months ago.

I once ordered a bottle of Hosital grade dandruff shampoo with my Mastercard on file with Amazon (you must provide a credit card to be a member of Amazon). I figured, no problem.

A few days later I look up my credit card balance and I see a synchrony bank charge of $8.00 on my card.

Not from Amazon but from Synchrony bank.

A few days later the bottle arrived in good condition. At that point I was satisfied. A week later, I get an email from Amazon saying that my bottle was on its way . Huh?

I already bought one I thought.

It came in a few days later and I was angry for them pulling this off. I couldnt get a hold of Amazon or Synchrony. Neither answered their phones or emails so I took it as a gift as I had no way to get an answer (remember, the bank only has a 1.2 rating).

Two weeks later I get an email from Synchrony. The 2nd bottle was another $8.00.

(The one I never ordered). Two weeks later I get another email from Synchrony.

It said that if I didnt pay the $8.00 I would be subject to a $94.00 late fee

So I locked my credit card and sent them (the bank) a check as my Mastercard was in jeopardy of their charging the $94.00 to it.

I had enough so I tried to cancel my credit card and couldnt. Its a complicated process. Once it was locked anything else they tried would be denied and I called my credit card account company and asked for the same card but with different numbers.

They agreed.

I deleted my Amazon account from my apps page and wiped my hands of them. My Mastercard was no longer valid for them to play with so it was a relief.

A month later, Synchrony/Amazon sent me in the mail a $600.00 Amazon store credit card. I shredded it and tried to get them to get rid of it as they took it upon themselves, without my authorization. No permission, no contract.

Checked my Experian credit report and its good so they opened a store charge card account good for Amazon only! Without my signature!

My credit report took a hit. A hard hit.(lowered my credit rating) because of this. I now had a $600.00 extra charge account in good standing

I guess they realized that my Mastercard was no good so they sent me one of their own.

I charged nothing on that card and its still showing zero..

Could not get experian to delete it even though I filed a dispute with them

The Amazon store credit card is open and shows that my payments are on time with a zero balance.

I went and put fraud alerts at 3 different credit reporting agencies. Good for a year. Anybody who wants to see or try to use my store cards I have to give them permission.

Besides Sychronys extremely low approval rating they have $1.4 million dollars claimed losses reported by reviewers. Where did that money go?

Dont think you can get away from them either if you use store credit cards.

Most store credit cards like JC Penny, Sams Club Best Buy, Amazon and hundreds of retail clothing or Lowes or Home Depot stores. PayPal, EBay types use Synchrony because it appears that they only charge credit store cards.

So be very careful when using store cards. I give them a zero rating.

Goodwill Deletion

Please remove/delete Gap credit card from my credit report from all credit reporting agencies. This Gap account has been paid and closed since 8/2014. This Gap account is having negative results on my credit report/score and I would greatly appreciate if you would remove/delete it as soon as possible.Thank you.

I can not reach a live person to help me. I received a $40 gift card on November 5th for my birthday. I called the number on the back of the card and it confirmed the amount. I was unable to use it on line, them I tried later, it says the number is invalid.

I cannot reach anyone by phone. Pissed consumer I have tried over 8 numbers to reach you and I can not. I need to talk to a person about a check I have and it is stale dated Hello why do I need to write so much. Just give me a number to a person.

I spoke to 4 customer service agents today, all 4 of them did not want to help me and put me on perpetual holds. There was no way to speak to a supervisor about filing complaints. I heard children screaming in the background and they put me on mute to curse and swear at me as if I couldn't tell. Terrible!

Synchrony won't process my payments.

I paid my monthly bill on 10/19/22 & received a payment confirmation email. On 10/28/22 Synchrony called to say my bill had not been paid.

I explained that it certainly had online. The rep said there was a glitch & to pay again. I did so immediately. Received another payment confirmation email.

Neither payment has been processed. I've spoken to several reps & they say corporate knows there is a problem processing & to pay again. They also state they are still trying to process the other payments. If I mail a check & they do process the other payments it will be an overcharge that I can't afford in one month.

I have paid on hearing aids from Beltone for two years with no problem. As of October 2022 Synchrony can't/won't process my payments. No manager will call me. I have emailed Anika Watson & Michael Bopp who are listed as leaders in complaint & customer relations as well as others.

I have written to corporate officers & spent too many hours pointlessly talking to customer service. I need something in writing stating my online payments will or will not be processed so I may proceed with mailed payments to their post office box.

Hi my name is Dinah McDaniel, I've never been late with my account, unfortunately I was hospitalized during the months of 10 thru January with covid_19, my account was set up on auto pay, so even though I couldn't get my bank for these months, instead of the bank recognizing there most be a problem, the just reported me to the credit bureau, and shut off my account, then when I was able to talk the bank once again fell me by saying there's nothing we can do for you sorry

I have called Synchrony Bank three times to get a reimbursement check. The first two times I was told the check would be sent in 7- 10 business days. Today I spoke to Karen at 4:18pm Pacific Time who said she was a supervisor. She said I cashed a check in August 2017. I happen to have the check, so that is obviously not true. She refused to send me a copy of the cancelled check. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused. Karen then accused me of fraud and hung up on me. To say that I am upset is an understandstement! I will gladly send a copy if the check I never cashed. Kim Snow

I inform synchrony bank with my credit cards Ebay that I was in the hospital with covid_19 so I was unable to handle my business, with my bank, I've never been over 30 days late in 15 years yet they close my account any way and said there was nothing they could do for me..even though you hear on the news banks are suppose to be helping people with the economy not in the best place...what a joke
